cupids boulangerie - Monthly Dinner parties Series

February in my home always carries a particular kind of softness. Somewhere between the pale afternoons and the Valentine’s noise, I crave something quieter and truer: women in my space, laughter without performance, food that feels like care.

My annual Galentine’s brunch is the first tradition I ever built for myself as a host—and the one that started it all. This year, I opened the circle wider than ever before: eighteen women, plus-ones, new faces alongside familiar ones, and a home transformed into a pink bakery daydream. No plates. No platters. Everything laid straight on parchment like a real boulangerie counter, with little takeaway boxes for grazing, mingling, and tucking something sweet away for later.

Cupid’s Boulangerie was equal parts aesthetic and strategy: from-scratch, sourdough-led comfort, coffee and ginger shots to start, rosé hour as the afternoon unfolded, and a menu built to move with the room. The result felt less like a “brunch” and more like a tradition evolving—still intimate, just shared more generously.

Prosecco & Pjs - Monthly Dinner parties Series

Prosecco & PJs was my way of starting the year without pressure. A January dinner built around comfort, familiarity, and the kind of ease that only exists when you’re surrounded by women who let you fully exhale.

Think homemade comfort food served on heavy vintage silver, chilled prosecco next to silk pyjamas, candlelight reflected on mirrors instead of a table runner. It was luxury without stiffness, hosting without performance, and a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful gatherings are the ones where everyone - host included - feels completely at home.
